A 56-year-old woman has been charged with supply prohibited drug and three other offences, after police allege they found more than one kilogram of synthetic cannabis at a tobacconist store in Mayfield.

Newcastle officers executed a search warrant at a store on Hanbury Street at 10am on Friday morning.
Police alleged that during the search they found 1.25 kilograms of synthetic cannabis, 52 glass water pipes and a sum of cash at the store.
A woman was arrested at the tobacconist and taken to Waratah Police Station where she was charged with supply prohibited drug, knowingly supply psychoactive substance for human consumption, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime and display waterpipe in shop.
The woman appeared before Newcastle Local Court on Friday where she was granted conditional bail to appear before the same court on December 19.
