The eight-year-old, which last won on May 30, 2017 at Menangle Park, settled near the rear of the field before coming with a late burst to take out the $10,200 race by 2.8m from Laceys Lad.
The victory in 1:56:1 was the Roy Roots jnr-trained pacer's sixth start back from an injury-enforced 21-month break from racing.
It was part of a winning double for Roots jnr and driver Tom Ison at the meeting, which doubled as a celebration of 30 years of racing at the Broadmeadow track.
Seven-year-old mare Glengarry Rose earlier claimed a 4.7m victory for the Keinbah-based team.
The Geoff Harding-trained Jasper Styles, which won in 1:55:9, and Darren Elder's Justarumour (1:55:2) took out Menangle country series heats.
Cessnock trainer Clayton Harmey had a double with Western Heir and Platinum Revolution.
Morisset father-and-son team Mark and Jack Callaghan won the Jim Bell Appreciation Pace with Velocity Stride, which made the most of an inside run. The race was named in honour of Newcastle Harness Racing Club's retiring chairman.
Maitland driver Guy Chapple had wins with Licinia, for Cameron Davies, and A Gift From Heaven, for Mark Jones and Aaron Goadsby.
