Hunter Legal & Conveyancing are a professional firm that are more than just words, they back their promises of quality, affordable services and staff that truly care.
Victory in the Outstanding Professional Services at the Hunter Local Business Awards proves that, according to managing director Susanne Mosely.
"This win is a great acknowledgement of our level of service and very honouring for the staff and my family," Susanne said.
"Our staff have become like family to us and this is reflected in the business."
HLC started as a family business founded by Susanne's father Philip Hill with whom she has worked alongside for the last 26 years.
She has worked to instill the same traditional family values he started with as a small local firm in Kurri Kurri, expanding across Maitland, Newcastle and the Hunter. Traditional Values, New Ideas.
"He has been the most amazing mentor and father and it's been an honour to take over the family business and work alongside him," Susanne said.
Susanne attributes HLC's success at the awards to a number of factors.
"Our level of customer services is above and beyond and is reflected in the organic growth of our business and our customer reviews," she said. "Our level of communication makes us stand out from others and our client's value this and feel supported by our staff 100 per cent.
"We believe every client is entitled to the expectation that their matter is the most important matter in our firm and we do everything we can to achieve the results they desire, in a professional and cost-effective fashion.
"We are available seven days a week as well as after hours and we also offer a mobile service to accommodate our clients' needs.
"We don't just promote this, we act on it and our clients can reach someone who can access their file any day of the week for immediate assistance or advice.
"I am so blessed to have this amazing team to work with every day who just love to help people. It makes me so proud."
Susanne said she was grateful to have the opportunity to enter the awards and thanked clients who voted for HLC to get to the finalist level and for the judges to acknowledge the many areas that they were judged on to win.
"We'd like to thank everyone involved in the Local Business Awards for giving us and our fellow small businesses this opportunity to shine," she said.
"We had some tough competition from other firms and businesses that I admire and respect personally and it was truly an honour to win the award for Outstanding Professional Services."
