BEACH WATCH

Another southerly coming up the coast today and this time some stronger winds should generate an increase and change in direction. Conditions to start off small and clean with the tide going low mid morning. Swell swinging from the East to South at 1m. Wind light N/W freshening South during the morning. Only a few shorebreaks about on the low tide. Try South Bar, The Cliff and Newcastle beach off the middle. Redhead, Frenchmans and Fraser to the south. Boxy and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Waters cool in with a cold current about and southern corners sanding up. Swim between the flags if going in. Water temp 16C. - Dave Anderson
