CRASH investigators continue to examine the circumstances around an Adamstown crash that killed a 35-year-old woman and her dog on Brunker Road on Tuesday afternoon.

Police on Wednesday said that a school bus carrying 16 children - most from Merewether High School - had collided with the woman near the intersection of Brunker Road and Mandalong Road shortly before 3.30pm.
She suffered critical injuries.
A bystander performed CPR on the woman until paramedics arrived, but she died at the scene, NSW Ambulance said.
The woman's dog also died at the scene.
The driver of the bus was taken to John Hunter Hospital for further assessment and mandatory drug and alcohol testing, emergency services said.
A crime scene was established with diversions in place. Brunker Road was closed in both directions between Olney and Bala roads.
Police remained on scene late on Tuesday night examining several damaged vehicles, with the area closed to traffic until roughly 9.30pm.
"It appears the bus also crashed into five vehicles that were parked on Brunker Road after the initial impact with the pedestrian," police said in a statement.
"As inquiries continue, crash investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision and have not yet spoken to police."
Police had said on Tuesday that parents of the students on the bus could attend the intersection of Brunker Road and Olney Street to pick up their children.
It was an "extremely traumatic scene for everyone involved", NSW Ambulance duty operation manager Inspector Joel De Zuna said. "Paramedics did absolutely everything they could to try and save the woman, but there was nothing further they could do," he said.
"We did assess quite a few children at the scene and understandably, they are extremely distressed."
A spokesperson for the Department of Education confirmed no students were injured in the accident.
"Counselling has been arranged for students and staff," the spokesperson said.
"No students currently taking HSC exams were on the bus."
