Police said Ms Starr attended Port Macquarie police station about 10pm on Wednesday evening.
Earlier: Police are appealing for assistance to help locate a woman missing from the Hunter Valley.
Carissa Starr, 30, was last seen leaving a home in Singleton between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday, November 5.
Officers from Hunter Valley Police District were notified last night and commenced an investigation.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 165 and 170cm tall, with an average build, black hair and brown eyes.
She has connections to the Singleton, Tamworth and Gosford areas.
