Newcastle smashed 17 maximums in one innings, and a total of 186 runs in boundaries, playing against Central Coast at Long Jetty's Jubilee Park on Sunday.
The visitors ended up with 6-324 with Jeff Goninan leading the way on six sixes and one four.
Aaron Wivell (four sixes, five fours), Nathan Price (three sixes, five fours), Adrian Chad (two sixes, two fours), Daniel Arms (one six, six fours) and Jed Dickson (one six, two fours) were also among the carnage.
Central Coast hit eight sixes and 11 fours in reply.
* LAKE Mac Attack have been pitted against the Coffs Coast Chargers in next year's T20 Regional Bash semi-final at the SCG.
It follows preliminary rounds wrapping up on the weekend.
The other top-four showdown on Australia Day will see the Central West Wranglers take on the ACT Aces.
* NOVOCASTRIAN Jason Sangha has responded to his omission from the NSW starting XI with back-to-back centuries. The 20-year-old scored 138 on Saturday playing for Randwick-Petersham in the Sydney first grade competition. Less than a week earlier he made 105 for ACT-NSW Country in 2nd XI.
* CITY'S Aidan Cahill has been named in Cricket Australia's pathways rookie program for 2019-20.
