Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson will miss Sunday's crucial Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
The Brazil keeper suffered a muscular problem in the 1-1 draw with Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday.
City boss Pep Guardiola, whose side trail leaders Liverpool by six points, has confirmed Claudio Bravo will start at Anfield.
Bravo, who was sent off in Italy in midweek, last started a league game for the club in May 2018.
"Claudio Bravo can do it too. He is an exceptional keeper - won a lot of international games with Chile. I have no doubts," said Guardiola.
Unbeaten leaders Liverpool will need to be at their absolute best if they are to beat the champions said manager Juergen Klopp.
City edged out Liverpool by one point to win the title last season and picked up a win and a draw in the two battles during that campaign.
Victory for the Reds would extend their lead over City to nine points but Klopp said everything would need to go perfectly.
"City in the last three years have been the team in the Premier League and it has always been our plan to get closer," Klopp told reporters on Friday.
"In the last three games we have drawn once and lost twice, but the guys are showing improvement.
"Everyone has to be in top shape in the stadium on Sunday, even the guy selling the hotdog. Everyone has to be there from the warm-up and invest all our emotions."
Klopp said Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk, who both missed training in midweek, will be fit to play.
Liverpool are unbeaten at home in 45 matches and Klopp said the Anfield crowd will play a big part, as usual.
"The best news is that it is as Anfield, under the floodlights," he said.
"Everything is on a plate nobody hides anything, if you are not brave against Man City you don't have the chance of even a point.
"You have to create, but your positioning and protection must be perfect. It is a lot. It is an interesting game."
