The Newcastle Knights will visit the Taree area on Tuesday evening to deliver necessary items to those impacted by the recent bushfire events.
The local club is calling on the Hunter community to donate essential hygiene items and non-perishable foods.
Items on the list include toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, deodorant, and lip balm for the firefighters.

They are also hoping to collect non-perishable food items like long-life milk, cereal, muesli bars, tinned tomatoes, tuna, pasta, jam, Vegemite, peanut butter and biscuits.
If you can help, drop off your contribution at Wests Mayfield reception by 5pm, Tuesday, November 12, to have them included in the donation.
