BEACHWATCH
Surf's looking good for a paddle during the morning as the swell hangs about early before tapering during the afternoons run out tide. Clean offshore conditions and most beaches suiting incoming tide best. Swell from the south-east at 1.5m. Wind light north to north-west tending east during afternoon. Tide just starting to come in for the early and the better banks are off South Bar, Cliff and Pogos. Try the reefs at Bar Beach and Flatrock towards high. Burwood, Redhead and Frenchmans to the south. One Mile and Birubi up at Port Stephens. Water temperature 18C. - Dave Anderson
