SUMMER FLING The Rubens have continued to move away from their soul-rock roots towards electronic pop on their new single Live In Life, released on Thursday. The track was produced by Konstantin Kersting (Tones & I, Mallrat) at the same WWII bunker in Camden that birthed their third and most recent album Lo La Ru. It follows their electro-pop collaboration with US rapper Vic Mensa on Falling Asleep At Wheel.

To celebrate Live In Life, The Rubens are playing the Shoal Bay Country Club on January 25. The show will be part of their Chucka Buckas initiative, which aims to provide emerging Australian acts with performance opportunities.
