Jackson, 23 of Metford, experienced mechanical difficulties in the morning timeslot and was only able to complete four laps.
The issue is believed to be the drive shaft.
Jackson and the Team RSG pit crew were working to fix the problem.
His best lap time of one minute and 29.2950 seconds was 23rd fastest for the Supercars support class.
Newcastle's Gavan Reynolds (1:29.0122) was 21st.
Dylan Thomas (1:27.7117) was top of the Toyota 86 charts.
