10.30am: All northbound lanes of the M1 Pacific Motorway have reopened.
9.20am: All M1 Pacific Motorway northbound lanes have reopened at Morisset following the earlier incident.
One of two lanes were closed due to a truck and car crash on the off-ramp to Mandalong Road.
According to Live Traffic NSW, the crash has been moved into the breakdown lane just past Mandalong Road and emergence crews remain on the scene.
Motorists are asked to reduce their speed.
Cooranbong truck fire
Meanwhile, one of two northbound lanes remain closed on the M1 Pacific Motorway near Newport Road, Cooranbong, following a truck fire.
At about 4am Thursday, NSW Fire & Rescue arrived on the scene and found a truck on fire.
The Fire & Rescue Hazmat team attended to deal with an oil spill from the truck.
Six trucks attended the incident and all northbound lanes were shut at about 4.20am.
Police officers and NSW Rural Fire Service crews also attended and Roads and Maritime Services were also notified.
Paramedics were alerted to the incident but did not need to transport anyone to hospital.
The fire has been extinguished and the clean up is in process.
Traffic is still very heavy so those traveling in that direction should expect significant delays.
Motorists are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time.
