Fourth generation painter and managing director of his namesake business, John Hersee, has spent the past 12 months completing a number of major projects across Newcastle including the 160-year-old Newcastle Railway Station.
Employing 46, and with 35 years experience in the industry, John and his team have worked tirelessly to deliver quality finishes to The Holiday Inn Express (HIEX) on King Street, The New Council Building on Stewart Avenue and the Newcastle Train Station refurbishment.
"We have a large crew of painters so we can take on large projects and staff who have been with us for over 20 years, so we have a wealth of experience and expertise to offer," John said.
"Being one of the last trades on a major construction site can present its challenges, and we strive to ensure we work with other trades to facilitate completion of projects."
The future looks bright for the business with John enjoying the period of growth and development in Newcastle.
"We look forward to being part of that continued progress in our ever developing landscape."
