Stone Real Estate's $2.15 million result on November 15 for a near-new residence at 540 The Esplanade opposite Lake Macquarie lifted Warners Bay's watermark into $2 million territory.
Eleven days later a split-level home at 7 Bareki Road in Eleebana that was marketed by First National Newcastle City and set for a November 30 auction sold for an undisclosed sum but Domain understands it was above the $2 million mark. According to Australian Property Monitors data, no property in the prized pocket of Eleebana had broken $2 million.
The renovated waterfront reserve residence had five bedrooms and four bathrooms and stunning views.

Big result in Kilaben Bay
The $2.55 million sale of an absolute waterfront property in Kilaben Bay is the suburb's biggest price in over two years and one of the highest on record, according to APM data.
LJ Hooker's Paul Campbell marketed the three-bedroom home with a resort-like pool on over 3200 square metres of land at 106 Kilaben Road with a guide of $2.5 million and described the sale as "a great result".
LJ Hooker have now listed the neighbouring property at 108 Kilaben Road. It has a four-bedroom home on 1600 square metres of land with a jetty, marina berth and slipway. A price guide has not been disclosed.
First release for Trinity Point
The first 24 waterfront apartments in the $388 million masterplanned community at Trinity Point in southern Lake Macquarie have been released.
They will be in the Polaris building and comprise two and three-bedroom luxury apartments and penthouses in what is regarded as the development's best-positioned release of waterfront apartments.
Prices for two-bedders range from $798,888 to $1.428888, three-bedders are $1.28888 and penthouses $2.888888.
Listings over $1million
A grand Federation residence with a Merewether address that has been renovated and extended at 437 Glebe Road has been listed with a guide of $1.1 million.
Anthony Merlo, of Dalton Partners, is marketing the large four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a solar-heated swimming pool and told Domain it offers versatility. It has electric gated entry and is on a block around 800 square metres, It is open for the first time today at 1pm.
McKiernan Real Estate have listed a five-bedroom residence with a pool at 38 Seascape Drive in Redhead for $1.1 million to $1.2 million.
Listings $500,000 to $1 million
A three-bedroom home on a block around 600 square metres in size at 1 Charles Street in Cardiff is being marketed by McFarlane Real Estate for $545,000 to $575,000.
Green Street Property have a two-bedroom unit opposite King Edward Park at 1/34 The Terrace on The Hill with a guide of $720,000.
A three-bedroom house at 3 Knight Street in New Lambton is being sold by PRDnationwide Newcastle and Lake Macquarie with a guide of $850,000 to $935,000.
Listings under $500,000
PRD have a two-bedroom apartment in a complex of four at 2/18 Hillview Crescent on The Hill for $440,000 to $460,000.
A three-bedroom brick home on 607 square metres of land at 90 Murnin Street in Wallsend that has been in the same family for 60 years is listed with Crawford Real Estate for $449,000 to $479,000.
