BEACH WATCH

Surf conditions to start off clean before a quick moving Southerly change works it's way up the coast by late morning. Midday high tide not quite as big suiting most beaches.Swell from the S/E to South 1m increasing to 1.5m. Wind North to N/W freshening South. Tides low first up with banks off Newcastle Beach, South Bar, Cliff and Dixon. Try Cowrie from mid morning and Bar Reef on high. Redhead, Frenchmans and Birdie to the south. Birubi and Treachery to the north. Waters cleaned up and slight sweeps in southern corners. Stay between the red and yellow flags if going for a swim. Water temps 20C. - Dave Anderson
