The exceptional display will be headlined by the world premiere of the Riviera 505 SUV.
Within Riviera's SUV Collection, the 505 is a multi-functional leisure boat that incorporates a number of Riviera distinctive features found on their larger models while staying faithful to the SUV pedigree.
The cruising yacht will have a three-stateroom/two-bathroom configuration with full-beam master stateroom, along with raised and fully covered mezzanine seating. On the mezzanine level, there will be two comfortable built-in lounges either side.
The starboard seat can fold out to become a daybed. While the hardtop extends fully over the mezzanine, twin sliding sun hatches allow filtered light and air to flow.
The mezzanine is a protected place to read, relax, dine and entertain.
Riviera's latest toy will be powered by twin six-cylinder Volvo Penta D8 IPS 800 turbo diesels as standard, which will generate 600hp apiece. Additionally, the 505 SUV will feature joystick controls in the helm and cockpit, and twin 16-inch Volvo Penta Glass Bridge screens. The power plants may be upgraded to optional 725hp D11 IPS 950s.
"Whether it's fishing, diving, paddle-boarding, or simply relaxing with family and friends in the total luxury of the mezzanine, the new 505 SUV offers the best of all worlds and will be widely-welcomed when she is unveiled at the Miami Yacht Show from February 13," Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst says.
A further six models will make their first appearance at the Miami Yacht Show. The 6000 Sport Yacht and 4800 Sport Yacht Series II will showcase Riviera's revamped Platinum Edition range.
The 6000SY saw the addition of hardtops and targa arches accented in Platinum, along with an upholstered sunbed on the foredeck, while the 4800SY Series II fits right in the sweet spot for cruising couples and young families, whether it's Sunday brunch or a relaxing weekend or week away. The Platinum edition range is characterised by state-of-the-art finishes such as Sunbrella fabrics, warm high-gloss walnut timber cabinetry and trim as standard, and plush pure wool carpet in the staterooms.
The company will also display the 575 SUV and 395 SUV models, along with a flybridge 39 Open model. Rounding out the show is Riviera's signature Belize 66 Daybridge.
"Our current model range of 20 individual yachts is the most refined that Riviera has ever created. This truly is testament to our team's in-depth research and development processes and the relentless pursuit of quality and excellence," Longhurst says.
"Our passion is to deliver the boater's boat. The most seaworthy, comfortable and opulent boating experience, both at anchor and at sea.
"I am very much looking forward to 2020."

WORLD REVEAL
British boatbuilder Sunseeker has unveiled details of its latest flybridge model, the Manhattan 55. Building on the popular Manhattan series, this new model promises something a little different. Exclusive images reveal the innovative design and attention to detail that has gone into this new flybridge model. The exterior styling incorporates an extraordinary amount of curved glass and stainless-steel detailing, while a nifty feature is a powered glass cockpit/galley window that can be lowered at the touch of a button. The flybridge features a large forward sunbathing area, a wet bar and U-shaped seating.
TETONIC SHIFT
An Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies-led research team on the CSIRO vessel Investigator sailed from Perth on Thursday for a two-month voyage that could lead to Australia's marine jurisdiction near Heard Island being extended by an area the size of Switzerland. The main focus of the voyage is to study the ancient rifting, break-up, and separation of tectonic plates that split a giant oceanic plateau into two major Indian Ocean seafloor features, Broken Ridge and the Kerguelen Plateau. The vessel is carrying researchers from Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Russia, and the United States.
