And that's more than enough time for the Knights to add a third premiership title according to company founder Bill McDonald.
McDonald said it was the support of local people 32 years ago when the company first kicked off in a single room at Broadmeadow that helped turn it into one of the nation's biggest home builders and now was the time to give back.
"I'm quite proud of where we've come over the years from 32 years ago when we started in Broadmeadow and to see the size of the company now," he said.
"But that's only happened because of the local people. When we started, they supported us so the best thing we can do is to support the local people and support the Knights. We are happy to do that for the next three years and I'm sure in that last year, I've just said to Mitch [Pearce], I want to see him lift that trophy."
Knights CEO Phil Gardner praised the company for its support.
"What they have done, starting in Newcastle and becoming one of the largest builders of homes in Australia, is an incredible story and hopefully, it's a story that the Knights will mirror as well," he said.
"Their sponsorship for another three years - it's a sign we are on the right path."
