Boot Dusseldorf is one of the world's premier boat shows, with about 1600 exhibitors from more than 50 countries showing off some of the newest boats available.
Sunseeker will use the show to reveal its vision for 2020, which includes the launch of its first production yacht with hybrid power.
Demand for the company's larger models continues to grow every year, with more than 130 yachts over 100 feet in length already delivered.
The increased demand for larger models has been driving Sunseeker's plans to expand its manufacturing into metal-built yachts.
This development means Sunseeker will produce its largest superyacht ever, the 161 Yacht. The company hopes it will be a game-changer in the 50 metre segment.
"The 161 Yacht is really taking shape and we are very proud to reveal the first look at her truly exceptional interior," Sunseeker International CEO Andrea Frabetti says.
"Every inch of this superyacht, from the onboard systems and engineering to the exquisite fabrics and finishings, have been carefully considered and she promises to be really something quite special."
Sunseeker's wide range includes 19 boats across the majestic Superyacht and Yachts range, through to the luxurious Manhattan range, the iconic Predator models, dynamic Sports Yacht and the agile Performance range.
The latest entry to the Predator range is the sporty and sleek 60 EVO, the first model of Sunseeker's major new product development plan.
The superstructure exemplifies Sunseeker's new design approach, and includes a powered carbon fibre hardtop with curved glazed panels, flooding the interior with natural light.
The hull has a new glazing design with polished stainless-steel detailing.
Central to its appeal is the cockpit door mechanism that allows it to open conventionally, but also lower beneath the deck, connecting the outdoor and indoor living spaces.
The Predator 60 EVO's handling underway is enhanced by Sunseeker's Hydro Performance pack.
The 'Hydro-Pack' has three key elements. The new flow aligned rudders have a profile perfectly suited with the propeller flow angles along their entire span. This minimises cavitation and vibration to reduce resistance and increase performance. The fly-by-wire steering system, with customised steering attributes set up by the factory, delivers a dynamic high-performance 'direct' feel. Finally, an automatic interceptor trim system controls the trim and list of the boat to provide optimum comfort and performance.
The helm console is part of a wider focus on technology that Sunseeker will be rolling out across all its new models. The latest Simrad NSO evo3 touch screen display provides a simplified and intuitive user interface, allowing integrated control of all essential systems.

LATEST FROM HANSE
Hanse Yachts has presented the latest model in its sporty S-Line range, the Sealine S430. This boat is characterised by an open cockpit design.
The roof can be opened almost completely, but when the electric sunroof and the aft soft-top are closed, the entire cockpit is well protected in the shade.
The U-shaped cockpit lounge can be variably arranged to allow access to the hydraulically lowerable bathing platform, but can also be converted into a large sunbathing area.
Below deck, there is a spacious saloon and galley, two double cabins, a bathroom and a freely configurable cabin to port.
NEW COLOSSUS
Royal Huisman's largest yacht ever, the 81 metre three-masted schooner Sea Eagle II, has left the shipyard in Vollenhove, the Netherlands.
Together with Dykstra Naval Architects and designer Mark Whiteley, Royal Huisman has built an impressive sailing yacht, with an imposing overall length and sturdy plumb bow. Dubbbed project 400 during her construction, Sea Eagle II is progressing on schedule.
Her carbon composite Rondal Panamax rig will be installed upon launch at Royal Huisman Amsterdam to ready her for sea trials and on-board crew training.
She has been built for Taiwanese businessman Samuel Yin, with delivery expected later this year.
