Nulkaba trainer Clayton Harmey's Wet My Whistle made it five wins in as many starts in Australia when he led all the way with Leigh Sutton driving in heat one on Sunday night, clocking a 1:57:9 mile rate. Roll With Lachlan, for Bobs Farm trainer Geoff Harding and driver Matt Harding, was second to also make the 10-horse final.

Battle Chimes, for Sawyers Gully trainer Cameron Davies, easily won heat four in 1:58:5 after coming three wide down the back straight and kicking clear for driver Josh Gallagher.

Louth Park siblings Melanie and Brad Elder claimed heat five with Ashark, which won in 1:58:0. Brad then drove odds-on favourite My Ultimate Star to a dominant victory in the Star Maker Final for trainer Jarrod Alchin.

On Friday night at Newcastle, Gallagher drove a winning treble, including a double for Medowie trainer Darren Reay.

Gallagher steered Mac Toddy to a first win under the care of Reay, while Spunkys Playing Up went back to back at the track for the combination with victory in the $10,000 Evolution Series heat for 3YO colts and geldings.

Gallagher also won aboard KerryAnn Morris-trained favourite Rain Main.

The quickest win came from Trevor Munday-trained Benalong Valley, which backed up his Inter City Pace victory at Maitland last start to salute in 1:54:2.
