They will perform a Bluesfest sideshow at the Cambridge Hotel on Wednesday, April 15.
The band's other sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne have either sold out or are selling fast.
Founded in 1998 by best friends Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), the Eagles of Death Metal's sound is a combination of bluegrass slide guitar mixed with firing drumbeats from Homme and vocals/guitar from Hughes, who is known for his over-the-top stage antics and audience interaction.
The band - who were performing to a sold-out crowd at the Bataclan in Paris in 2015 when terrorists stormed in and started shooting - are best known for hits Miss Alissa, I Want You So Hard, Wannabe in L.A. and Save a Prayer. They've released four studio albums to date and have toured the world extensively over the past two decades. Their studio album Eagles of Death Metal Present Boots Electric Performing The Best Songs We Never Wrote was released in June last year, featuring 13 covers of songs that have inspired Hughes over the years.
