It all started one winter day in 2013 at The Junkyard Grand Junction Hotel, Maitland.

Mitchell's sister Emma had been on a girls day out and returned to the hotel with Justine.

In the years since, the pair have shared life's highs and lows and grown closer through it all.

Their big day became even more memorable when they announced they were expecting another child.

Justine took on Mitchell's son Roydon as her stepson when he was 2 years old.

"We have since had another son Fletch, who turned 3 in December, and we have another baby on the way due in March," Justine said.

"Our family is growing and we love every minute we get to spend together."

They love to spend their days in the great outdoors, whether that's at the beach, four wheel driving, or some other adventurous activity.

The couple's standout moments together include buying a house and raising their children.

Mitchell, son of Ray and Donna Smith, is a rail operations supervisor.

Justine is a hotel supervisor and daughter to David and Monika Nevin.

The pair honeymooned on the NSW North Coast.
