The 2017 Newcastle horse of the year led throughout in the Ladyship Stakes on Saturday night and rattled home in 26 seconds to clock 1:51:8 in a three-metre victory.
The performance has the six-year-old in line for a shot at the group 2 Robin Dundee Stakes, which is a qualifier for the group 1 Ladyship Mile.
Goadsby said he was praying for another good barrier after Luke McCarthy found the front from gate three on Saturday night.
"Luke said she done it quite easily," Goadsby said.
"That was his first drive and he indicated there was plenty left, so hopefully there's plenty left for next week."
Takara Truffle, a dual group 3 winner at three, missed 13 months of racing because of injury but returned last year with three wins in five starts.
However, she followed those with two poor runs at Newcastle before improving. She was fifth at Menangle a week before the victory.
"I don't like bringing her down to Menangle until she's ready and last week's run just topped her off," he said. "We were waiting for these mares races.
"I still can't put my finger on what went wrong at Newcastle, but she's won three at Menangle after coming back from a long injury. And I didn't think we'd get her back to the races."
Nulkaba trainer Clayton Harmey was another winner, claiming the Evolution Series 3YO fillies final with Yosemite.
At Newcastle, visiting driver Leonard Cain had a winning treble, including a double for trainer Craig Cross.
Cain steered Valoroso Hanover and Bettor Robyn to victory for Cross, and Yesnomaybeso for Kylie Barnes.
