The Eagles led 3-0 at the break and went on to down their fellow NPL club 4-1 in the pre-season competition.
Adam Cawley put Edgeworth ahead in the 19th minute with a shot from distance into the bottom corner of goals.
Tyson Jackson then finished a beautifully worked goal in the 28th minute. Running from midfield, Jackson played give-and-go passes to Josh Rose and Will Bower en route to goal.
Rose made it 3-0 just before half-time when he knocked in a parry from the Rosebud keeper.
Adamstown got one back seven minutes into the second half when Harry Frendo curled in a great strike from long range.
The NPL champions restored the margin through substitute Daniel Fabrizio in the 49th minute when he scored from an acute angle.
Rose won the Col Curran Medal as player of the final.
Eagles coach Damian Zane was pleased with his side's play in the first half and how they responded to Rosebud's goal.
"The second half they set up a bit different," Zane said.
"But then I thought after about 10 minute we settled down and played some good stuff until I started making subs."
Earlier, Merewether Advance won the Community Plate final, beating Minmi Wanderers 3-2.
West Wallsend defeated Lake Macquarie on penalties 3-1 after scoreless draw in the third-placed play-off.
