Police have charged a 29-year-old man from Hamilton South following alleged break and enter offences in Jesmond during January.

Police arrested the man in Waratah on Tuesday morning.
It is alleged that the man had stolen property with him at the time he was arrested, which police believed was stolen from a vehicle in February.
He was taken to Waratah Police Station where he was charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter, goods in custody, drive while disqualified and malicious damage.
The man was refused bail to face Newcastle Local Court on Tuesday.
