The impact causing it to rupture with large amounts of gas escaping. First arriving crews worked to set up an exclusion zone around the leak and liaised with nearby residents to keep them safe. Firefighters then set up hose lines for fire protection and to assist with dispersing the gas, while gas company representatives worked to repair the leak.
