Robinson Property's Mike Flook is selling the "extremely spacious" five-bedroom residence at 32 Wrightson Avenue (pictured top) and reported 20-odd enquiries in the first 24 to 48 hours since hitting the market on April 24.
Built in the 1960s as two flats, one above the other, on land once used as the tennis court for the grand residence next door, the home was redesigned by owner and architect Debra McKendry-Hunt in 2006.
The result is a light-filled, contemporary family haven offering over 400 square metres of versatile living space. Large picture windows capture district views and landscaped gardens wrap around the home.
"It's a great position," Mr Flook said. "It's such a quiet street with a lot of families and beautiful, quality, up-market style homes. It is a short walk to the beach and a short walk to Darby Street."
Tightly held in Stockton
Raine & Horne's Jason Maxwell reported varied interest in a Stockton property on the market for the first time in 118 years.
Currently configured as two flats, the two-storey property at 82 Mitchell Street (pictured bottom) has six bedrooms, two kitchens and two bathrooms and an auction guide of $1.1 million.
"It was built by the current owner's great grandfather in 1902 and has never changed hands," Mr Maxwell said. "It's on a corner block right in the heart of the town and lends itself to some opportunities, whether it's to renovate the existing home or to knock it down and build something new."
The home has pressed metal ceilings, a hand-crafted cedar staircase and leadlight windows.
It is set on corner block 543 square metres in size and the property is zoned B2 commercial centre.
