BEACH WATCH

High pressure off the coast so another calm day wind wise on the beach. Light offshore for the morning's run-out tide and conditions not quite clean and a little lumpy on the banks. Swell from the East to S/E at around 1m. Wind light and variable N/W to North tend East during afternoon. The early high tide to suit the reefs off Cowrie, Bar Beach and Merewether banks at Newcastle Beach and Dixon off the ramp. Burwood, Redhead and Moonie to the south. One Mile and Buribi up at Port Stephens. Warmer current with clean and clear swimming conditions. Water temp 20C. - Dave Anderson
