A MAN reported missing after he was last seen at a Tenambit BMX trail has been found safe and well, Hunter police confirmed on Tuesday.

Port Stephens-Hunter Police District officers had been seeking public help to find Stewart Murrell, 62, after he was reported missing on Monday.
Investigators were called in when Mr Murrell failed to return home by 5pm.
Mr Murrell was found about 8.15am on Tuesday, police said.
They thanked members of the public for their assistance.
