Porter's Sticky Wicket ($6.50) found the rails run after starting poorly from box four in race seven. She blitzed the field in a three-length victory in 23.08 seconds in the 5th grade 400m.
Luchador was the $1.70 favourite in the next, a 400m FFA, and he started well from box one to hold the rails position. However, he was headed by Rio Dixie until the home straight when he edged ahead en route to a 0.75 of a length win in 22.88.
It was the Magic Sprite dog's 15th win in 45 starts but his ninth from 14 attempts at the track and distance.
Porter was close to even more success, with Paige edged out late in race one by Lemon Tree Lass, and Hard Left and Thunda Touch filling the minors in race three behind Ruthless Robyn.
Greek Bombshell, for Gunnedah trainer William Marmara, put in the run of the night.
In her first crack at the 272m, the El Grand Senor bitch crossed to lead from box eight and win by 3.25 length in 15.37 seconds. Lil Doo's track record is 15.29.
Racing is back at The Gardens on Saturday with the first of 12 events at 4.47pm.
