Mr Dickie disappeared from a small town east of Dubbo in 2016, only nine days before his 19-year-old grandson Dylan vanished from Cessnock in an unrelated and tragic twist of fate. It was four years this month since Robert and Dylan went missing.
Robert Dickie's body has never been found, but detectives determined during their investigation he had been allegedly murdered.
Investigators were granted an arrest warrant for a woman in 2017, but it was not until it was discovered earlier this year that she was living in New Zealand that Auckland police arrested her.
NSW Police traveled to New Zealand this week to collect the accused and bring her to Australia.
She faced Central Local Court on Thursday where she was remanded in custody, to face court next in Dubbo on August 19.
