McKiernan Real Estate have listed the three-bedroom home at 30 Hebburn Street with a guide of $1.35 million to $1.45 million and agent Andrew McKiernan said it was already "proving popular".
The owner has a design background with a love of renovating and told the Newcastle Herald they wanted to bring something different and fresh to the area. That something was Palm Beach glamour with a touch of luxe.
They saw plenty of potential in the original weatherboard home with good bones that had been in the same family for over 60 years. It was in need of "a whole pile of beauty" and has been given "a facelift with lipstick on top" to achieve the desired result.
