NSW Rugby League have formulated a draft draw for the new-look, statewide competition, which was officially unveiled last week in the wake of the global coronavirus pandemic.
The Pickers, who travel for three of their first four fixtures, welcome to Maitland the Hills Bulls on July 25, Western Rams on August 15 and Glebe Burwood Wolves on August 29.
Maitland president Frank Lawler said he hopes to make club days out of these fixtures with the top squad playing President's Cup and four lower grade sides featuring in Newcastle RL amateur competitions - two tiers of men's open, under 19s and women's Blues Tag.
The Pickers will visit Wentworthville, the North Sydney Bears and Dubbo CYMS. They have a bye in the second last of seven rounds.
Both the President's Cup and Newcastle RL are scheduled to start on the weekend of July 18 and 19.
MAITLAND DRAW FOR PRESIDENT'S CUP: Wentworthville on July 18-19 (A); Hills on July 25 (H); North Sydney on August 1-2 (A); Dubbo CYMS on August 8-9 (A); Western on August 15 (H); Bye; Glebe Burwood on August 29 (H).
