A MAN accused of assaulting a woman in a domestic incident at Aberdeen is due to face court on Friday.

Emergency services were called to Macqueen Street about 5.30pm on Thursday.
It is alleged the man attended the address before damaging a front door and assaulting the 42-year-old woman, police said.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman for facial injuries before she was taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
The 26-year-old man, who police said was known to the injured woman, was arrested nearby and taken to Muswellbrook hospital.
He received treatment for superficial cuts.
Upon his release police took him to Muswellbrook police station.
The 26-year-old was charged with stalk or intimidate intend fear physical harm (domestic violence); destroy or damage property (domestic violence) and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic violence).
The scone man was refused bail to face Muswellbrook Local Court on Friday.
