Jason Morris, of Raine & Horne Commercial Newcastle, is selling the site at 28 Groves Road through expressions of interest, closing August 19. A guide has not been disclosed.
The site is approximately 2940 square metres in size and located around 500 metres from the Newcastle City Bypass. Mr Morris said it was surrounded by industrial businesses and bulky goods retailers and close to the $100 million Spotlight Group Home Maker Centre.
"It's rare to find industrial land, especially in and around the suburbs like that but to have it DA approved is even rarer," Mr Morris said.
He is also marketing an investment or owner-occupier opportunity at 61 Nelson Street in Wallsend. The two-storey property comprises four separate tenancies. It is 50 per cent let, returning approximately $24,975 net per annum.
Selling well
Seven units have already been sold with only four remaining in a newly constructed industrial development at 103 Stenhouse Drive in Cameron Park that is being marketed by Colliers International's Tim Woolf.
Units vary from 174 square metres in size and $400,000 plus GST in price up to 261 square metres and $652,500 plus GST. Each unit has a glazed shopfront entrance and warehouse component and on-site parking.
