Chasse Ede and Mark Kentwell, of PRD Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, marketed the ultra-contemporary home (main picture) with a guide of $1.8 million.
Custom-built in 2016, it came with plenty of "wow factor" and produced a record sale for the street, according to Australian Property Monitors data.
It featured three bathrooms, four separate living zones and a sound-proofed home cinema. There were vaulted ceilings, a formal lounge with its own bar, a custom kitchen with Caesarstone benches and a servery window, and a terrace adjoining a heated infinity pool complete with waterfall feature.
There was a home office or sixth bedroom upstairs, a fenced backyard, large storage shed and double garage.
Mr Ede reported two registered bidders for the auction, one in room and one online, and described the sale under the hammer as "a good result".
It was one of nine properties PRD reported sold from their July 22 auction night.
