Good Juan and kennelmate Big Skinny will run in race four, a 720-metre 5th grade event.
An injury in March forced Good Juan to miss three months of racing but he returned on June 27 with a win over 520m at Wentworth Park. He was fourth over the same track and distance before seconds at Richmond and Maitland over 618m and 565m respectively.
He returns to the 720m at headquarters which he won over in January and has twice finished second in three other attempts.
"He's ready to go now," Sarkis said. "I just had to wait for him to get a bit fitter before I put him over it. Hopefully tomorrow night can go as we've planned it.
"He did a pin muscle, and I brought him back and he won and then he ran a couple of seconds so I decided to just put him back over the distance quickly, but I prepared him for it. I wasn't going to race him into condition."
Sarkis was not worried about the draw in seven for Good Juan and he expected Big Skinny to lead from four.
"It doesn't matter what box he's got," he said.
"He falls out of the boxes, but he tacks on fairly quickly.
"The distance suits him but I think he's a lot better dog than he was a few months ago. He's just matured that bit more and he's going good. I'm hoping he'll win easy."
The Gardens has a 10-race program from 5.13pm.
