A man aged in his 40s has been flown to hospital after suffering head and arm injuries in an all terrain vehicle accident at Wattle Ponds, north of Singleton.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was deployed to fly the injured male to John Hunter Hospital after the accident occurred about 11.30am on Saturday.
The man was flown in a stable condition, a statement from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service said.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to the flight to Newcastle.
