Adamstown Heights 16-year-old Burdack, along with fellow Hurricanes junior Bryn Leonard-England, are scheduled to attend a training camp on Queensland's Sunshine Coast in October (1-5).
They were two of almost 30 NSW-based players, born in either 2003 or 2004, identified with an eye towards the 2028 Olympic Games.
International tournaments have been flagged, including next year's age group World Championships, but they're subject to the global coronavirus pandemic.
Burdack had also been aiming to feature at the under-16 World Cup in Greece last month. The event was cancelled because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Hurricanes quartet Jack Hawkins, Ruby Browne, Salvador Alfaro and Gracie Saunders were recently announced in state squads for players born in 2003 and 2004.
