Flying Ricciardo, for Londonderry trainer-owner Kristy Sultana, was the $1.45 favourite for the 4th/5th grade 450-metre event after threatening the Nowra 365m track record at his most recent effort and winning five from seven starts.
The Barcia Bale-Megalodon dog did not disappoint, jumping to the lead from box six and powering to a three-length win in a smart 24.82 seconds.
Zipping Rambo, for Richmond Vale trainer Jason Mackay, was second. Zipping Vernon, for Brandy Hill trainer Mark Davidson, was third.
Davidson's Aston Tatum was another impressive winner on the night, taking out the 400m free-for-all by 4.5 lengths in 22.43.
Aston Tatum was second out of the boxes from seven but she quickly overhauled Rum Chaser to record back-to-back wins at the track. It was a 12th win in 23 starts.
Miss Granger, for Nabiac trainer Allan Woods, made it six wins in eight starts with an all-the-way victory in the 4th/5th grade 400m event.
The daughter of Keybow held off a late surge from General George to win by 0.75 of a length in 22.31.
