Frendo copped a second yellow card in the 76th minute for a midfield foul from behind and Lundy got a second booking for being too close at a free kick in the 81st.
Despite the red cards, Charlestown hung on for a 2-1 win - their first of the season. Lundy and Frendo will be missing for the clash with Valentine on Sunday.
Law said his players needed to be more disciplined.
"I have no issues with the standard of the referees," Law said. "Players have to realise referees are holding them to the highest level. People might say that's soft, and that's soft, but these referees are having it driven into them to treat it like an A-League game. A yellow in the A-League is a yellow here."
** The Adamstown v Olympic clash on Sunday is likely to be pushed back to Monday or Tuesday to allow both clubs time to get players back from COVID-19 isolation.
The Adamstown-Valentine and Olympic-Maitland games last weekend were postponed because Rosebud and Olympic had players unavailable due to links to COVID-19 cases. The precautionary 14-day isolation for Rosebud players doesn't end until Sunday night.
** Defending premiers Maitland have moved quickly to re-sign young guns Braedyn Crowley, Zach Thomas and James Thompson for next year.
Coach Mick Bolch said the trio and skipper Carl Thornton had agreed to stay.
"We see Braedyn, Zach and Jimmy as the future of the club," Bolch said.
