Scott Hunter, of Ray White Rural Lifestyle Sydney - Dungog, is marketing the six-bedroom home at 31 Paterson Street and said the unique property had generated plenty of interest with a variety of buyers.
Built at the end of 19th century, the shed was run-down and dust-filled when bought five years ago. From what owner Dean Fellowes described as a "labour of love", Vintage Steel emerged.
Over five tonnes of heritage ironbark timber was used throughout and 20 tonnes of steel to create an industrial design complemented by custom-made features throughout. It has polished concrete floors, a nine-metre floor-to-ceiling height, three levels and 600 square metres of internal space. The auction is at 2.30pm.
