Scott Purnell, of Dalton Partners The Junction, has listed the three-bedroom apartment at 205/3A Honeysuckle Drive with a guide of $1.85 million.
Owners Karen and Mark van Loon have "absolutely loved" the location.
"It is such a privilege to live on the harbour," Karen told the Newcastle Herald. "It is such a dynamic aspect; it changes every minute. You look out and there's dolphins. Or you look out and there's the tugs going past. It's a beautiful place to live."
It has also been a beautiful place to work for Karen, whose home office is drenched in natural light and looks out over the water.

She said the apartment's L-shaped layout gives the best of both worlds with separate balconies on the east and northern sides providing "options" for all-year round.
"We're completely protected from a southerly, even the prevailing nor'easters," Karen said.
The sunrises, and the sunsets, are "just spectacular" and the apartment benefits from the warmth of the sun all day through winter as well as cross-ventilation in summer.
There are two bedrooms in one wing and a master suite in the other. They are separated by the open plan kitchen and living.
It has two side-by-side security car spaces opposite lift entry.
