The Marvel Avengers actor and his family had been spotted by locals in the area, and was rumoured to be staying close by, when they arrived for a Friday parma at the country inn on the banks of the Pages River about 15 minutes outside of Scone.
Owner Dan Bennett, who repurchased the lease about six months ago ending a brief hiatus with the historic hotel in the middle of three years' ownership, said the pub sees its fair share of notable personalities but the Hollywood superstar was quite the highlight.
Mr Bennett said Mr Hemsworth was "just up here and enjoying the time," and was more than obliging and was happy to stand in for a happy snap at the bar before heading off on Friday afternoon.
The Linga Longa Inn, built in the heart of the town of Gundy in the Hunter's thoroughbred country, was a finalist in the Best Bush Pub Awards in 2018.
