A motorbilke rider has died in a crash on the Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Amy Close and the Pacific Highway, Wyong, just before 10am Monday after a motorcycle and Toyota Corolla collided.
The motorcyclist - a 52-year-old woman - was treated on scene before being taken to John Hunter Hospital, but she died on the way.
The female driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Wyong Hospital for treatment and mandatory testing.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police Area Command and the crash unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report be will be prepared for the Coroner.

A MOTORBIKE rider was rushed to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition after a collision with a car on Monday.
Just after 10am emergency services, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, were called to a serious multi-vehicle accident on the Pacific Highway at Wyong.
Part of the highway was closed to traffic and the rescue helicopter had to land on the 18th hole of the golf course adjacent to access the crash site.
Paramedics and the helicopter's critical care medical team treated a female motorcycle rider, believed to be in her 50s, for multiple serious injuries. She was transported by ambulance to the John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
No further details have been released at this time. While the highway has reopened to light vehicles, all heavy vehicles travelling northbound are being diverted while the police crash investigation unit continue to work at the scene.
