The newly constructed ground floor suites with parking form part of the ground floor of the new One14 Tudor Hamilton apartment block at 114 Tudor Street being developed by The Stevens Group.
Joint marketing agent Alan Tonks of Raine & Horne Commercial said deposits had been taken on two of the three units. The remaining unit is 171 square metres in size with an outdoor area and available for lease or sale.
Mr Tonks said the online auction system continued to prove popular with four registered bidders at Raine & Horne Commercial's auction of the ground floor at 14 Watt Street, Newcastle.
The 273m2 strata suite with seven car spaces sold over reserve for $1.36 million.
"It has confirmed our opinion that some people prefer bidding online in the comfort of their home rather than the pressure cooker atmosphere of a live auction," Mr Tonks said.
The campaign attracted 23 enquiries.
