A group of teenage boys had a scandalous end to Friday night after they bared all to streak through Newcastle's CBD, only to run into a group of patrolling police officers moments later.

Around 7.30pm, Newcastle officers were patrolling the CBD when they noticed three young men remove their clothes and set off down King Street.
The officers stopped the boys, but while speaking them them, they attempted to make their escape, police said.
One of the 17 year-olds was quickly arrested after a short foot pursuit, while two others, aged 17 and 18, attended Newcastle Police Station a short time later.
The teenagers have both been dealt with under the Young Offenders Act, and the man aged 18 has been issued with a warning, police said.
"Taking a common sense approach to celebrating the end of your high-school education - by all means enjoy yourself but do so safely and don't make any decisions that you'll later regret," a spokesperson for police said following the incident on Saturday.
"The police respect the age-old tradition of 'muck-up' days, but students must take necessary precautions so celebrations do not get out of hand and become dangerous.
"While pranks are often part and parcel of the day, don't engage in any behaviour that risks your welfare or the safety of others,
"The police are not here to spoil the fun, but they will take action if deemed necessary."
