Naumov will serve as first-team coach under existing boss James Pascoe. Former Charlestown coach Shane Pryce (reserve grade) and ex-EPL star Michael Bridges (analyst) will remain, giving the club a wealth of expertise.
"It gives us a blend of styles," Jaffas administrator Chris Sneddon said.
Pascoe said "it will be good to bring in somebody of Bobby's calibre" to work with his players.
"A few of the clubs are going to have a fresh shot of energy around them, with some new appointments, so I think it gives us a chance to revisit how we go about things," Pascoe said. "I think it will be good for the boys to have a different voice."
Pascoe said the club's top two grades had trained as a combined group for the past 12-18 months and Naumov would help share the coaching load, working with the top squad and individual players.
Naumov said he has been working for Northern NSW Football recently in selecting talent for the 13 and 14 years representative sides and he was keen to get back involved with senior coaching.
The former Hamilton, Edgeworth and Magic mentor was interested in having a hands-on coaching role.
Jaffas have a bye this week before a crunch game away against Broadmeadow to decide their finals fate.
They sit fourth on 18 points but have Azzurri and Olympic a point behind them, both with a game in hand.
