Mr Orkopoulos, now 63, a convicted paedophile, was charged in June this year with 15 offences relating to two young boys who were allegedly sexually and indecently assaulted at Seal Rocks and Swansea between 1994 and 1998.
On Wednesday, Newcastle Local Court heard the ex-Lake Macquarie councillor had been charged with eight additional offences against another two young boys at Swansea and Caves Beach between 1999 and 2003.
The fresh charges include multiple counts of sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and supplying cannabis and heroin. Mr Orkopoulos, who will face a hearing in December into allegations he breached the conditions of his parole, had the historical sexual assault matters adjourned until November.
