The Belmont veteran notched up a ton opening the batting in Saturday's second-grade fixture at Waratah Oval, but it was the company that made the moment even more special.
Harradine (101), usually skipper of thirds, was dismissed shortly after reaching three figures and when leaving the field was met by son and teammate Thor for a celebratory hug.
He and Bailey Newell (55) put on 150 for the first wicket and the visitors ended up 7-193 from their 40 overs only to be chased down by Waratah-Mayfield.
Harradine is the brother of Olympic discus thrower Benn.
* BELMONT youngster Joey Gillard had a busy weekend, playing first grade cricket before backing up for a junior Aussie rules grand final with Warners Bay.
Gillard only scored six with the bat on Saturday, but was named best on ground in a one-point win in Sunday's under-17 decider.
* JOSEPH Price has kick started the 2020-21 season with back-to-back fifties for undefeated Wests, making 56 against Merewether and 55 against Cardiff-Boolaroo at the top of the order.
* MEREWETHER suffered two collapses in the same innings on Saturday, losing 4-5 midway through and 3-1 to close out proceedings. The Lions were all out for 82 in pursuit of Toronto's 8-164 at Ron Hill Oval.
* TWO-day fixtures were released this week, starting on November 14. There are eight in total with three before Christmas. The final is scheduled for March 27-28.
